What is Sensitive Choice?

Sensitive Choice is a not-for-profit organisation created by the National Asthma Council of Australia in 2006 to inform the public about asthma and allergy management. The Sensitive Choice website includes fact sheets, links to useful resources, and approved product recommendations based on the needs of people living with allergies and asthma.

What does it mean if a product is Sensitive Choice approved?

Products and services that are part of Sensitive Choice submit research, testing and evidence, which is assessed and approved by an independent and voluntary panel of experts to determine their potential benefit to people with asthma and allergies.

From bedding to building products, cleaning agents to carpets, air purifiers to vacuum cleaners and the paint you put on your walls - when you see the Sensitive Choice ‘blue butterfly’ logo on a product, people with allergies and asthma can trust it. Only products and services that have been approved through this rigorous review process carry the Sensitive Choice logo.
